For the second week of recording I was able to gain a lot of new shots. I didn’t have as much as last time but I got a decent amount. We needed flower shots that was the biggest goal.So the second I got the chance I was out and about. We also need dark sacred nights. That’s another big one.Its really hard to get that kind of shot though. My group members are hard at work to try and get that shot. For the flower shots I needed to get the perfect lighting and angle. I decided to go to a park I went to last time,Harbor village park. The park had a good variety of flowers.
So I just needed to find the right angles. To get to the park I rode my bike over.I spent over two hours waiting and recording multiple times.Just trying to get the wind to blow a certain way, make it not shaky, and etc. One of my biggest obstacles was the sun and clouds. I would find the perfect shot then a cloud would come around and mess it up.This was a main reason it took so long to record. Some of the shots I took were low angles and close ups. Occasionally I would have the wide shots and pan.I want to know if there are specific angles used to record nature and scenery shots.
After I was done at the park it started to sunset. So I attempted to get the dark sacred night shot.It did not go over so well. The shots looked good in person, but when I got home to look them over, it was just black screen. I wasn't very happy about that. At home I went and watched all the videos I took. Then I sorted the videos and deleted the bad ones.Tomorrow I am going to dump all the footage and start piecing it together. Hopefully my group members will also have a good amount of videos as me or even more. The main video we need to focus on getting is the dark sacred night.
